The ONE Lowell World Cup tournament provides very low cost fun and entertainment during a time when our country is facing turbulence and economic hardship. It has been gathering momentum since it was initiated two years ago and now gives players and fans from communities around the area something to look forward to and be part of. The ONE Lowell World Cup is not just any soccer tournament!

The ONE Lowell World Cup is a fundraising event for ONE Lowell, a nonprofit organization that serves the greater Lowell community. Proceeds from the event go to help promote academic success among immigrant and refugee youth, provide citizenship services, leadership development, and promote self-sufficiency, justice and equality among all residents in the region.
The aim of the soccer tournament is to "Build Unity Through the Universal Love of Soccer." The tournament brings together residents new to the USA with those who can trace their ancestry back for decades. Through soccer, bridges are built between people from all communities living in the region. A strong America is built upon strong local communities.
